2026 Easter Offering Goals and Recipients
Goal: $3,500
Monrovia Covenant: $1,000 supports our ongoing covenant with First United Methodist Church of Monrovia, Liberia. We have been in covenant relationship since 2002 supporting their schools and new congregations.
Baldwin Center: serves the people of Pontiac with Wellness Wednesdays with access to meals; clothing; laundry and shower facilities; and health, housing and employment assistance supplies takeout meals on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Operates a K-8 after school program on Wednesdays and Thursdays
Cass Community Social Services: serves the homeless of Detroit by providing a free daily community lunch; shelters for men, women and children; free health care clinic on Wednesdays and Saturdays; linkage/re-linkage to mental health services; GED and literacy classes; volunteer opportunities; job training and jobs; green industries; housing for persons without homes and referrals to other service providers
Missionary Support: we have supported Princess Jusu in her missionary work empowering the women of Liberia with marketable skills in sewing, cooking and baking. As she begins to contemplate retirement we will continue to support her successor in these endeavors.
