Thoughts:
Jesus:                 I appreciate you men meeting me here.
Elisha:                So how are things going?
Jesus:                 Well, some people are skeptical that I am sent from God.
Moses:               Tell me about it!  When I was leading the Israelites out of Egypt, they were always doubting me.
Jesus:                 Yes, I’ve read abut –
Moses:               Always complaining!  They actually wanted to go back to Egypt!
Jesus:                 That must have been –
Moses:               Didn’t seem to remember they’d been slaves in Egypt.  Idiots!
Jesus:                 What were some of your hardest times, Elisha?
Elisha:                There were these kids who made fun of my bald head.
Jesus:                 Children can be –
Elisha:                But a couple of bears took care of them – 42 of ‘em!
Moses:               (gesturing toward Peter, James and John):  See you brought some of your men with you.
Jesus:                 Yes, these are –
Elisha:                Can’t always trust your men, you know.  Gehazi got to be a real problem.

Discussion:      Why did God want Jesus to meet with Moses and Elisha?

Activity:            Choose a person in the Bible whom you would like to meet and learn more about him or her.

Remember in prayer this week Judy Conley, Jim Kuszmaul’s granddaughter and Barbara Strozynki’s niece, Sarah, Connie Gill, Vivian Hansard, Fred Laws, Norma Price, Sally Schaper and Chuck Tincknell.

This Sunday is All-Scout Sunday.  All Scouts who want to participate should notify Scott Williston and be at church by 9:00am.  Scouts will greet, have a Flag Ceremony during worship and bring goodies for coffee hour.
