Thoughts:
Jesus: I appreciate you men meeting me here. Elisha: So how are things going? Jesus: Well, some people are skeptical that I am sent from God. Moses: Tell me about it! When I was leading the Israelites out of Egypt, they were always doubting me. Jesus: Yes, I’ve read abut – Moses: Always complaining! They actually wanted to go back to Egypt! Jesus: That must have been – Moses: Didn’t seem to remember they’d been slaves in Egypt. Idiots! Jesus: What were some of your hardest times, Elisha? Elisha: There were these kids who made fun of my bald head. Jesus: Children can be – Elisha: But a couple of bears took care of them – 42 of ‘em! Moses: (gesturing toward Peter, James and John): See you brought some of your men with you. Jesus: Yes, these are – Elisha: Can’t always trust your men, you know. Gehazi got to be a real problem. Discussion: Why did God want Jesus to meet with Moses and Elisha? Activity: Choose a person in the Bible whom you would like to meet and learn more about him or her.
