Thoughts: All. In this scripture, it really jumps off the page at me. My life, after 23 years, feels pretty long to me. I don't remember much before I was 7, but still, I feel like I have been around for a while. I'm sure it's the same with you. But no matter what your age is, even if it's close to triple digits, our lives are just a little speckle, or even less, in terms of all Jesus has seen and done. From creation, to flesh and His Resurrection to sit at the right hand of God, we can't even imagine what His "all" is. It overwhelms me, but also brings me a whole lot of peace to know that with all He has done and will do, my ALL is important to Him. The things that absolutely consume my life for a moment, a day, a week, a month, a year, or even the majority of my life. He cares and is involved and EVERY one. And it's the same for each of us. Whatever it is! Whether you feel like He doesn't have a hand in what's going on in your life, you feel distant, you aren't sure where you are being called, or He just isn't seeing you, know that He does. Your all is a part of His all.
Discussion: How do you feel about Jesus being there from creation and still caring about your all? Does it overwhelm you? Comfort you? Somewhere in between? How are you at talking to God about all that is going on in your life? How could you improve? Activity: Make an effort this week to talk to God about all things. Whether you are embarrassed of it, think it's too small for him, feel uncomfortable talking about it, etc. Jesus already knows it all, but He wants to hear it too! Spend quality time with him and fill him in on it all. Big or small.
